Private, one-on-one yoga with Ane. No mirrors. No back row. No one moving faster than you — just a quiet space, a guide who knows your name, and a practice shaped around your body.
Request a SessionYou're not bad at yoga. You've just never had a room where nobody was looking.
Most people who stop going don't stop because of the poses. They stop because of the mirror, the person in front who knows every posture, the feeling of being three seconds behind for a whole hour. A private session removes every one of those things. What's left is your breath, your body, and someone paying attention to you specifically.
There's no class to keep up with and no one behind you. If a pose isn't right for your body today, we change it — quietly, without it being a thing.
“Where am I supposed to feel this?” “Is my knee meant to do that?” In a group class those questions go unasked. Here, they're the whole point.
We can spend the whole hour on breathing and on how to get down to the floor and back up again. That isn't falling behind — that is the practice.
Not knowing what to expect is its own kind of nervousness. So here's the whole thing, start to finish.
A short conversation about your body, any injuries, what you're hoping for, and what you'd rather avoid. Nothing is a silly thing to mention.
Clothes you can move in, and water. If you don't own a mat yet, that's completely fine — there will be one waiting for you.
Breathing first, then the foundations — how to move safely in and out of the basic shapes. You won't be asked to do anything you aren't ready for.
Nothing to sign at the door. If it felt right, we'll talk about what a regular practice could look like for you.
I've spent years teaching yoga here in the Valley, and the moment I care about most has never been the difficult pose. It's the moment someone stops apologising for their own body — when they stop glancing sideways to check whether they're doing it right, and just breathe.
That moment almost never happens in a crowded room. It happens when it's quiet, when there's nobody to measure yourself against, and when the person guiding you is actually watching you.
That's what these sessions are. Wherever you're starting from — never practised, coming back after years away, or working around something that hurts — you're welcome exactly as you are.
No — and it's the single most common reason people never start. Flexibility is a result of practising, not a requirement for it. Every shape has a version that fits the body you have today.
You can't fall behind when there's no class to follow. We begin with breathing and the simplest movements, and we go at whatever pace you need. Most people start exactly here.
Tell me about it before we begin and we build the session around it. This is what private practice is best at — a group class can't adapt to your shoulder or your knee, and I can.
In a calm, private setting here in the Rio Grande Valley. Once you reach out, we'll confirm the location and a time that works for you.
Send a request and I'll share current rates along with a time that suits you. There's nothing to pay to ask.
Claro que sí. Las sesiones pueden ser completamente en español o en inglés — lo que te haga sentir más cómoda.
Send a note with a little about where you're starting from. No commitment and no pressure — just a reply from me with a time.
